Can anyone help me locate a replacement Fuel Pump Housing (for a 60mm Fuel Pump) for my 1988 GTi 16v ??
VW Part No. 191201043
No longer supplied by VW. Extensive research on the web has produced no results so far.

Hi Ken,
Did you get any luck with finding a new housing? I'm in the same predicament and am considering custom fabrication in stainless steel.

Hi Brad
Thought I'd struck it lucky when I sent to the USA for a new one but it turned out to be the wrong one (to fit an 8v). I did however manage to get in touch with a guy in London who was breaking a Golf for spares and bought one from him. Fortunately it was OK and didn't leak and I haven't had any problems with it since it was fitted last August. I contacted VW direct but they were not very helpful. Getting a new one is highly unlikely as they just don't make them anymore. I would suggest that you search on e-Bay or Gumtree to see if anyone is breaking a MK2 GTi 16v for spares. Good Luck! - Regards Ken

My fuel pump casing for Golf mk2 16v KR is leaking. VW part number 191 201 043 has not been available since 2013. I am speaking to ProAlloy about getting one fabricated. Costs are high for a one off, but if they do a batch of 10 it will be more economic.
Anyone interested?

Let me know if you get one fabricated please.

I am getting one fabricated, if you are interested give Chris at ProAlloy a call. Hopefully they can make a batch and we all get a better price

I've sent a message to ProAlloy.
Did you order one from them? Would you be able to provide any pictures / details please?
Thanks

Hi - I have sent my old unit including the pump & mounting bracket to ProAlloy so they can use it as a template to make a replacement. Not got it yet, but it should be a direct bolt on replacement. Will post pictures when I get it.

Just enquiring whether you purchased from ProAlloy. It's a bit more expensive than I anticipated, but I'm not convinced how much longer the old housing will survive.

Yes purchased from Pro-Alloy. I was a direct fit to the mounting original brackets. Yes its not cheap, but some second hand units that had broken lugs were £200 on ebay. I would rather replace it once than risk wasting money on second hand item. Also used new stainless fuel line from VW Heritage.
