Dan34's EK4 Civic!
« on: 30 January 2012, 21:56 »
Though i may aswell spam this forum with my jap crap as everyone else is!

Basically my car is a Honda Civic 1.6 VTI. 160bhp B16a2 engine!

Started off like this:

Looked pretty gash if im honest!

So needed some splitters and to get rid of the bean can on the back!

Then i went all fast and furious and got a carbon bonnet! Also new compomotive wheels were fitted...

Standard seats were pretty uncomfortable so Evo 4 recaros were sourced...

Then finally got some coilovers sorted and also joey modded the headlights!

Decided I didnt like the spoiler anymore so got a carbon spoon style item:

Then the car went into the paintshop for all the rust to be sorted and have smoother front and rear bumpers sprayed and fitted!

Then i finally found the wheels i wanted! Some SSR's!

And that's pretty much where it is at now!

Probably missed some bits out, but you're probably bored by now anyway!

Thanks for looking

Dan

I often wonder why people never expect sarcastic comments from me - they're the only reason I speak...

Like the new wheels, probs be better in another colour.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Do the wrapping yourself, 3d wrap is £35 for 1.5x1.5m and all you need is a heatgun, squeegee and a spare set of hands.

Few guys on here have done it, I've done it on my mk4 and it survived winter. Problem I found was you ring various sign makers and body shops and they all give silly figures for such as small and quick job, cheapest quote I got was £200, dearest at £400, with them prices you can buy a fibreglass bonnet.
