ABS fault
« on: 03 January 2009, 19:58 »
Hi guys, my gt tdi 130 has developed a fault.  When i am coming to a stop it feels like the ABS is kicking in, the brake pedal starts vibrating under my foot, it doesnt do it all the time.  Has anyone else had this problem?  Anyone know what it could be, sensor, pickup ring maybe?

Thanks for any help

Steve

have you had a sensor fitted recently?  my abs has been working more so recently due to cold weather and poor/icy road surface

Yes i have checked all discs and pads and all look ok.  My ABS has been working overtime in the last couple of weeks aswell!  Seems to have started since then actually.  Not had anything replaced as yet.  Is there any way of checking the sensors?

Thanks Steve
