I know this might sound a bit stupid but if you live round the blackpool area, there is a guy called derek who knows everything about mk2 golfs, and will do any job really well, and if you are in a mk2 golf he will deffo do it cheap,lol. just be prepared to wait a week or so if you want anything doing as he is always busy,
i always take my car there as well as do most people with mk2s in the area, he's just a back street garage but does a mint job, and even adds bits on for free just because he thought it needed doing. lol, i love the guy
