 I wouldn't like to do any key coding with it or instrument coding, if the connection gets interrupted whilst writing you may end up with a dead clocks!

very true. I just want to use it for code reading and basically to have a play with. It looks like the app on the phone can read boost on later Golfs, quite handy for my AGU  :cry: :grin:

not sure mate, I think it's just android at the mo. Can you iphone people use the bluetooth?

pop ups came up saying you need to scan your computer wouldn't close then about 20 more. had to abort the lot.
When i typed the web address I got to it ok

there is an app for the i phone that should work with the bluetooth obd 2 plug. its called rev there is a free verion to try which is just as well cos it costs £24 for the app
