was hoping you'd tell me

from the research i've carried out...

BAROMETRIC PRESSURE (BARO) SENSOR. The baro sensor measures barometric pressure so the computer can compensate for changes in altitude and/or barometric pressure that would affect the fuel mixture or timing. Some MAP sensors also perform this function.

getting a little confused with this and the map sensor tbh, as i've read they are the same thing?

think this will be okay? or am i better of getting one from dealers if there isnt a huge price difference?

about £90 for the dealers for a new one provided they still stock them. Only the AGU had them according to ETKA

I been wondering WTF one of them was for a long while on the AGU, but even unplugged it never bought any codes up, nor did it have an effect of performance when I vag com'd last trying to work out what it was with a 12ft pole
