Title: Diffuser - Reiger vs TCR?
Post by: zainahmed48 on 28 March 2021, 21:38
Hi guys!

I’m in the market for a new rear diffuser but I’m torn between a reiger one and the TCR one! Let me know what you guys think.

Reiger:

TCR:

Feel free to google search more pics of these diffusers as I know these websites might only show limited angles!!

Below is a pic of my 7.5 GTI right now. I will be getting spacers and will be spraying the GTI lettering gloss black - all I need to complete the rear after will be the diffuser!

Reiger 100%
I was going to put one (or at least attempt to) on my TCR as I don’t like the TCR one.

Much of a muchness really, it's either Rieger and Aftermarket (Very high quality btw) or OEM and wannabe TCR.
They're both pretty similar prices.

I can say after my front Rieger splitter it's extremely high quality stuff and would have no reservations of order more Rieger parts.

Just to throw it into the mix, you can get a matte finish version of the Rieger as well which looks very oem. (I got my matte one painted texture satin black which matched the oem plastics.

Sometimes I think it looks amazing with how aggressive it is but then at other times I think it is way too flared!

Thanks for this! I reckon I’ll go for the gloss still as I have the gloss black spoiler and I plan to get the textured plastics done in gloss black too at some point.

I’ve heard that the Reiger is a great fit also. Thanks for the reply

The Reiger diffuser came with my Remus and it's build quality is fantastic as is the fit. It looks as good now as it did when I fitted it 9 years ago.
