Rear wiper help

2.0 GTi rear wiper stopped working also the screen wash doesn't come out at the back could they be related problems?

Yes the hose usually splits and water gets into the motor

Totally agree with barrym381...happened to me with my MK4 Estate and took a bit of searching to find the reason, but once I found the reason, was pretty easy to cure.
