right picked up the new rims for the car yesterday and gave them a little mini refurb as two had some bad curbing - after a little wet and dry and some new paint they look ok! there not my first choice of wheel but they will do until i buy some more maybe next year, i am in no rush mind! the car really needs to be lower to set the wheels off better but the kit should be here soon.

took a few pics of the vr today, the colilovers have made the car handle 100 times better, it may be a little too low as the front wheels keep rubbing on the inner palstic arches. might try and take these out next week, also removed the golf badge and am going to re-spray the vr6 badge matt black to match the other badges.

right got a few new things comming or to go on, first my new smoked/crystal fogs and indicators, my old ones where all broken and full of water. They dont look too bad and i have used some silicone to try and seal them better as i know they can let water in. Once fitted i wasnt 100% on how they sit but i will have a go at them tomorrow and get some pics up of them on the car. Also waiting for a shoran type bee sting as i cut mine down and now cant pic up any radio! lol

next up - de-locking the doors - i bought a pair of mk3 rear handles from GSF and as i had a bit of chili red spray paint left over i have colour coded the new handles!

gave them a good rub down then used some palstic primer
(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v732/Toofunkyhouse/DSC00603.jpg)

then top coat and laquer, they have come out well and i will be fitting them soon

right, got a new front wing fitted today, went through e-panels who spray the parts before fitting and can send out in the post or fit on site. Now for the cost of £150 they fitted and sprayed the new wing which is alot cheaper than most body shops round wycombe so i was very happy, the colour match is bang on which i was worried about but i guess the car hasnt faded much!

they have said they can provide a new tailgate and spray it for £250, so might go down this route soon!

well today i took off the throttle body, maf and pipes to see if they where dirty. Cleaned all the oil out of the pipe and also took my dremel to the throttle body and smoothed and flowed it a bit and got it spotless. will see if it gets rid of the codes and also if it adds any performance!
