The bolts do shear easily and replacements are hard to find and expensive. Azrob sorted me out with a spare bolt when I did mine.

i snapped half my bolts. well my m8 was doin them for me and snapped half of them. dont care when it aint yours.

started on the refurb, but have been sat for months. just matz do replacement bolts. a full set for around £80.

cba with them though, the centres are well hard to do by hand. need to be sand blasted really.

might end up flogging them as they are :undecided:

will do peeps. once i got the 1.8t in and running and sorted, and the body/paint work is done, then i will give them another proper go. going to try to heat the rims up to get the snapped bolts out. this is the main prob.

thanks for the interest :)

6 months ago they were £10.50 a corner for VW ones. I'd get oem ones from the bay or keep an eye for good ones at the scrappy.

Have you tried an engineering shop and have them drill them out.
