We were given a list of 20 or so to choose from. (Gave, not asked). Luckily, one ended "VWS" which seemed easy to remember for our PP gti

Just an update:

We are in phase 3 now with a confirmed build date of 19/2/18.

I have also decided against a coating of wax and instead will be going for a sealant (Gtechniq EXO or CSL - still undecided) after the full polish!

The Michelin PS4 are still on the cards...only £95/tyre at camskill currently. I wonder how much one can get for a set of Bridgestone tyres that have done 200 miles?

Time to change my Bridgestones on the front after 10K, so after some research...
I ordered two Michelin PS4s (18 inch) from Blackcircles yesterday.......£202 total fitted for the two.
Offer on until end of Jan using code Janten.
(I've always used Goodyear Eagle F1 A/S replacements on my last 3 Golfs so will be interested to see if the PS4s are really transformative).
2019 5Dr Mk7.5 Performance DSG. Indium Grey with DCC (and TCR spoiler)

(Previously two Mk7 GTIs, Mk6 GTI and Mk6 GTD)

I’ve got a set on the Mrs’s A4 and they are an excellent tyre, you won’t be disappointed!

Ordered a Golf GTI performance for delivery 1st March as the car is sitting at the port.

5dr metallic black 19” wheels and dark tints.

Wanted a sunroof and reverse camera but didn’t want to wait any longer.

Just a quick update....fired up the app today and it showed the car as being built and being in transit! The expected build date was 19/2/18!

Just spoken to online chat and I think it should be here within 4 weeks....so first half of March is on it seems!

Just a quick question people...

Can I expect the new car to come with a week’s worth of insurance?

You get 5 days complimentary insurance, you have to phone vw insurance up yourself day before picking up car so cover note is sent to dealer so they can let you drive it away.
Very handy I used this as I wanted to change insurance companies a few days after picking up my car.
Collected and being driven....... Gti PP 5dr DSG Tornado red, tints and Brescia's.
