OK, change of plan.  :embarassed:
Im gonna keep the Caddy now!  :grin:

So this xmas i started work again on it...

Fabricated a new rear arch




Then removed the rear Axle


Ground off the locating pins, and re-welded them underneath the axle.


Painted and Waxoiled the underside of the car before fitting axle


Then fitted Axle above the leaf-springs


Fabricated new brake lines


Then lowered the car to the ground...




The car doesnt look that low in the pics but trust me... its low!!

Bought myself a Mk1 GTI for parts




The seats were soaking wet and mouldy




That could be a job for some industrial carpet cleaner and my girlfriend....  :wink:

The Carpets are in excellent condition, even if a tad damp


Fitted an Anti-roll bar, with new bushes all round

Well, the Caddy has been finished ages so i thought i'd better update you. lol  :drool:
