Today, I reluctantly sold my GTi PP after 3 1/2 years of enjoying the car. Fond memories, it will be sorely missed.

The only real option, another Golf GTi. I will still be hanging around this board.

The white worm finally got to all four Austins. It's time to get them diamond cut, and recolouring the gloss black to anthracite.

The Austins are now with the great team at Transalloy Wheels in Batley, Leeds. So I'm now driving round on these. I kind of like the 'bad boy' look!!!!

Will share a photo or two of the completed refurb next week.

My Oct 13 car wheels are still fine except for one which has the worm near the centre. I will be interested in your views on the refurbishment outcome!

Moro, your wheels have faired exceptionally well! Admittedly, I had had a few kerb scrapes too - think I've become less careful in recent years. I'll share the refurb pics and views on the outcome. Transalloy did an excellent job on a couple of cars for my Husband so I'm hoping my Austins will look like new.

Prepped the car for winter with a detail. Just the wheels to seal now tomorrow. Just reading the above regarding wheels, my Austin’s are from August 2013 and no white worm to report. Thankfully haven’t kerbed any yet. Car six years old now and still love it 50k miles in
