Great i had a horrible feeling id seen a picture of one that wasn't. I like a floor mounted accelerator pedal :laugh:

No, they've abandoned the floor mounted design in the mk7. It's gone back to the more traditional style now that you see in most other cars.

I am pretty sure it's not floor mounted, I thought I saw a picture that showed the pedals, but I can't find it. Not too sure why they would change it as a lot of cars now have the floor mounted accelerator pedal.

The GTI I test drove last week it defo wasn't floor mounted, cos like you I love the floor mounted one in my mkv at the min

why do they keep changing things.

much prefer to floor mounted setup in the mk6

I'm kinda pleased to be honest, I've never really got on with the floor mounted pedal on my MK6.
