ive yet to receive mine, mines an early one aswell

i was led to believe my car was 1 of  vw s press release car s , it was registered in dec 2006 and i m no 0069 would love to know where 0001-0068 are 

Hmmm... thats interesting.  I wonder where those cars are then.   I feel  bit better now as my old Ed30 delivered in Feb 07 would have been in the hundreds then.  I was thinking it might have been double or even single figures as I pre-ordered mine a week before it was officially announced in late 2006 and it was delivered in Feb 2007 - or maybe it could have been Jan - but I can't remember.

They have just confirmed that the plaques are being sent out in stages!

I spoke to them last week and although they said they are going out in batches, they couldn't confirm an order.

So I've still no idea what number mine is.

I rang up last week and it turns out the dealer hadn't registered me on the vw database. That's now done so will need to ring up again and confirm.

Make sure you're on the VW database!

Well my plaque has finally arrived---No 1880---Ordered my ED30 Dec07 was built January08 and arrived at the dealers mid February..
