bent strut is the answer, sh!ty jom coilovers  :grin:

Great that you found the problem, at least the strut is easier to change than the hub.
A big boo to kwik fit for not spotting it, or was it a very subtle bend?

Only way we kinda noticed was from the inside rim to the spring the normal side was easy about a 20mm gap,  and the crashed side barely 5mm and once we shun a torch up the strut you could then see it very slightly at an angle just coming out of the hub

ive fixed a similar / same issue to this on 2 cars now. apart from twisted wishbones, its both times been the hub itself. the hole where the ball joint goes in has been ovalised from the impact, I know these are tapered before anyone says anything but the base of the taper has been ovalised.

just my 2 pennies worth but you never know,
