First post and just got a mk6 gti. Picked one up with just 700 miles and 6 months old. My first GTI for 20 years where I had a 16v and 2 x 8v. Anyhow, just installed an RNS510 as my car just had the bog standard radio in it. Transformed the dash and hopefully the sat nav as trying to see my phone the other day for directions resulted in a quick kerbing and a well scuffed alloy.
Overall I just love this motor. I think the dsg box is superb and the engine very sweet. To put things into context I've also a 997 gen 2 Carrera s, and it's hardly turned a wheel since the gti arrived 3 weeks ago.
Already thinking of selling the porker and putting an order in for a mk7 r when they come out next year.
Looks like the 510 works well anyhow though I've not resorted to any vcds coding. Yet.

Aye that'll be step 4  once the winter tyres come off in march.

Cheers
