You could go to http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/index.php and pick some arguably better products like in my trolley below

Then get some, what seems like great wax especially for R colours that Booth11 tested here http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=280049.0

Weren't you thinking of having Gtechniq coatings applied professionally?  If so, this could well determine which aftercare products would be the best choice.  Reason being Gtechniq coatings and sealants are designed to be used together and it is usually best to stay within the same 'chemical' family to ensure best results, especially when it comes to bonding of the protective layers.  Wax does not bond well with nano or polymer sealants and could be very shortlived.  If you are looking at having Gtechniq coatings then take a look at some of their maintenance kits.

Add some Gtechniq C2v3 and that should cover most needs.  http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/sealants/gtechniq-c2-liquid-crystal-v3/prod_1040.html

If you do want to go with wax, then look at DoDo Juice waxes and Collinite waxes, both do excellent waxes.

In particular look at the Blue Velvet Pro Edition and Purple Haze Pro Edition. Both are hybrid waxes contains carnauba and a synthetic sealant which boosts their lifespan. You can get sample pots of each which give around 3 coats so you can try before committing to a smaller pot.

Collinite 915 is a great durable wax for darker cars - blue or black, and superb value for money.

And as mentioned above, Obsessive Detail Lapiz Carnauba wax is well worth a look.

If you can't find a kit and buy separatey, look at DoDo Juice Birn to be Mild shampoo or DJ Supernatural shampoo.  http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=490

Btw, not all on here are chaps.
