Quick one on boot latch removal

Can't find this on search. What do i need to remove the screws? I've been told M8 and t45 but mine look bigger, Can anyone verify either?  Just wanna know what tool to pick up on the way home

if you have a Halfords Pro kit you will be fine

It's a spline bit that you'll need, I think it's 8mm, but not 100%

I don't remember any M8s in that job... T45 rings a bell though. You have to remove the lock barrel before the handle though

not the handle, the latch/catch.

oh those are just 2 M8's. unplug and unhook the bar.

afaik always M8. I've owned a '98 and a '02 so far
