ok

thinking of swapping engines with my mums sharan if it fits.

its an auto and my is a manual so will it fit plus would i need the ecu and what other bits do i need and so on.

it depends on engine codes,if theyre both pd or non pd engines aswell. the engine should physically fit and you should be able to just swap the gear box and clutch over. possibly flywheel too but im sure someone will correct me on that. also possibly manifolds may differ but again in not 100%
