What sort of noise was it ? I think I have a similar problem.

Mine was a squeak every now and again, more when in cold weather. Made the tensioner jump about all over the place and has now stopped ? I am sure it will come back as since when do cars heal themselves

Jase, if you want you can still make them up and send them out to other members who need the tool  I'm sure they will be appreciated
