I'm in the markwet too for a double din head unit.

i woul dlike something with bluetooth and sat nav, really like teh VW RNS 510 but its way too pricey! And for that amopunt of money I'm sure I could get a decent Alpine or other after market unit.

Any recommendations?

all the major manufacturers alpine kenwood pioneer upped their prices in april
alpine have gone up 30%
kenwood 20-25%
pioneer 20-25%

Yep I agree with that, went back in to buy the same unit from the same store for my girlfriends polo and it was £80 more expensive!

I then reminded him I had bought one the previous month from his show for that £80 cheaper  :wink: haha

the problem is manufacturing costs have escalated and of course that cost has been passed on to us

Adam mate! Hows the Polo? All good I hope! Have you done anything to it yet? You mentioned you were going to get some wheels, I see you have got a new stereo too!  :cool:

Manufacturing costs have gone up and the euro is very strong as the pound is weak at the moment which is crud for us in the UK  :cry:

A lot of companies hiked up their prices in April from the start of the Fiscal year but I still managed to get me a Pioneer F900BT for a cracking price  :cool:

i have found i am selling more equipment to europe as it is cheaper for them to buy from here and get it shipped
