1.4 oil leak into 4th cylinder so runs frequently on 3 cylinders and the GTtdi eats steering racks, 2 in 6months...

1.4 engine sucks big time - my dad's last Golf drank oil like a goldfish so he bought an Ibiza instead with the same engine and never had a day's trouble with it  :undecided:

i would never havce chosen it by choice, but as a vehicle for sale outside my house at a decent price it will do!
