hey every1, ive finally finished my door pods, wanted to cover them with some leather look material but couldnt wait so just ended up spraying them matt black. i will still cover them when i do get the material thats why there not perfectly smooth
. let me knw what you guys think

they sound awesome m8, got Alpine SPR-17LS components, Type-R badbwois! all i need now is a sub (when the cash flow is abit better
), get rid of the 6x9's and get ones to put in the shelf mounts and amp front and back speakers!

So i guess you hacked up the original door pod, used an mdf frame but what is the filler you have used on it? Any chance of a quick step by step?
I quite fancy having a crack at some of these as yours are looking good!

^^ Thats a pretty good general tutorial on making door pods, there was a really good one specifically for mk2's somewhere but I cant remember where, probablky hidden amongst my million or so bookmarks!
