2018 GTI PP Won't DSG Fart

I ran a 2017 7.5 GTI 230 and from almost new it would DSG fart on an upshift and sounded awesome. Got louder as more miles went on

But my 2018 7.5 PP wont DSG fart at all. Done 750 miles on it. However on start up the exhaust cracks and burbles really well, something my 2017 never did on startup.

Anyone got a 2018 which DSG farts on upshift? Mine was build early Jan if thats any relevance

Maybe give it bit more of a chance to run in and then see if it does it.

Could be, I think its the very newest 2018's may have new software update or calibration. I drove a 2017 7.5 PP and it did dsg fart, that was a sub 1k mileage demo aswell.

Does your Car sound like mine?. I agree about the farts, but think the car is pretty loud and have a nice sound anyway.

Mine doesn’t as far as I can tell. Both the other two would do it on the up shift as soon as you got to 3000rpm and the R used burble and occasionally pop on the downshift too !!

Turn the sound actr off.. You probably can't hear them. I took around 9k until mine became very prominant.

His previous car is a non PP 7.5 so he knows what he’s listening for.
