Looking great  As an alternative, how about Reifnitz? A good looking wheel, a little unusual and not diamond cut. Should look great with TR.

if you can find some. Reps you can but genuine ones, no chance.

I thought about the Reifnitz but decided against them as it could become a replica TCR, especially since I really wanted a TCR but my budget didn't stretch that far. If I had a Pure Grey TCR I'd definitely go a Satin Bronze in them though.

I'll most likely go with the Brescias so I can reuse my Michelin PS4S's, as well as it will help break up the Black and Red theme on the car.

Upgraded my screen to the 8" glass screen from the new 7.5s. Looks much better and also an absolute bargain for £80 (although £147 for the trim surround is a joke).

I’m glad it’s not just me then . The volume knob in my car is always the correct way up - volume can only be adjusted by the driver using the steering wheel volume buttons.

Great upgrade, I did the same mod last year.

The colour of the trim section you have bought is from a lower model Golf 7.5, so I would not recommend changing all trim parts to match the colour of the new trim section. I would recommend you change to the Gloss Black trim the GTI had in MK7.5 guise. Perhaps you can take that part back to VW and explain.

Checked my spark plugs, trying to determine the source of the "hopping" issue I have had a thread going on about.

How do they look? https://photos.app.goo.gl/iUb5Qk37xLms4PyWA

I've been swapping coils etc to try and locate the cause, but typically, every time I am trying to test, it doesn't happen!

The other day, the car juddered a LOT and I had to pull over, EPC light was on and the car was in limp mode. OBDEleven diagnosed it as a misfire on cylinder 1. Later, I tried it out again, and saw multiple (>10) misfires on Cyl 1, a few (<5) on 2 and 4, and none on 3. I swapped 1 and 3, but I haven't had any drives where it's generated an appreciable number on any coil in particular. Maybe 2 in 10 miles.

Are a few misfires ok? Or should I be working harder to track the problem? I'm just going to be waiting for it to start happening again which, now the weather is warmer, doesn't seem to be as often

I can't believe how many people are freaked out by the volume dial not being perfectly upright  Some people have some serious OCD on here
