« on: 22 February 2013, 19:32 »
Can someone please have a look at this graph and tell me if thats normal actual boost seems really high versus specified boost and if it is out is it a boost leak or a faulty n75, N75 cycle is the little red spikes at the bottom of the 2nd pic.

Looks like its in limp mode?

There is no N75 duty so I guess tehre is a fault there somehow....something electrical or triggering N75 valve not to work.

Fuel trims are also a bit rich on idle  ECU is pulling 6.9% of fuel to try meet the fuelling set in the ECU,

Can you do 1 run in 3rd gear, logging the MAF sensor, Actual/specified boost

ill see if i can get it done in a bit waiting on the postie bringin me some goodies.

Would it go into limp mode without the engine light being on? and if it is in limp mode it still feels pretty punchy, either that or the golfs limp mode was more powerful than my crappy 2 litre astra was haha.

MAF is group 002 right?

They usually just feel dead.

I think MAF is 002, it will tell you on the labels above the columns.

Any fault codes?

that damn 17705 pressure drop code is back thought id got it sorted but im suspecting diverter valve now and a fuel system to lean code ill get the exact code just shortly.

on a seperate note and this may be a stupid question but does the piston/spring diverter valves work the same way as the standard diaphram ones? just got a spring one in the post and when you force the spring up from the bottom like you would test a diaphram one and cover the hole at the top the piston just falls back down and only when i remove my finger from the top it will let a little bit of air out.

right just put a standard diverter valve back on it and now its being hella weird. 1st and second will give decent pull 3rd is like its got nothing as if no boost developing 4th gives a little bit but is hesitant around 4500 revs its like it just wont go any farther and 5th just seems like nothing aswell. it was hesitant in second at one point aswell as if it had hit a red line but i was only at around 3000revs or so. N75 or N249????  Ill get that log done once my laptops charged up.
