Buying a GTi - what to look out for?

Hi,

Just new to the forum and looking for advice on what to look out for when buying my first GTi?

I'm interested in a year 2000 1.8 GTi 150bhp version.

It's the 5 door model, standard kit, 2 owners and it has 74,000 miles (119,091 kilometers) on the clock.

Any major items I should be checking or have checked out?

dont worry about rhyso he hasnt changed a bit since ive been on here and u get used to him!!!!

ask him about green clay and aero wipers!!!!!!
