Knocked back a couple of 'on the asking price offers' along the way too because of my undecidedness. It was straightforward to sell via AT though.
Only two actual viewings and it was gone.
The first was a tyre kicking chancer suggesting that there was corrosion on the front wings, hence offering £1k below the asking price to cover the respray (3 dots were in fact where I had delicately used a VW touch up stick on minor stone chips nearly 3 years ago
The second viewer who offered the full asking price is now a very happy new owner.
Got 85% of what I originally paid for it back. Not bad for near 3 years ownership and 20,000 miles covered during that time.
MK6 GTi is a great car and still looks no poor relation next to a MK7
