Newbie (kinda)
« on: 14 September 2016, 10:46 »
Hey guys.

Im Mark

i use to be on this site years and years ago (cant remember my old username) when i was running some mk2 gti's.
Well a decade later, 3 kids and trying to be grown up, i am back in the golf scene.
now its not a gti so get the pitchforks ready.

i have just bought a mint condition 2000 Mk4 2.0 cabriolet. full service history and all orgional. electric hood works like a dream and is the factory origional. the only thing i dont like is the black bbs rims so may have to swap them out soon.

i am looking to keep it pretty standard but with a few tasteful mods/upgrades. what would people suggest for this car as a good starting place?

hope to chat with lots of you in the future.

Welcome back Mark.

First thing I always do when I get a new car is a full service and a full detail, including a complete mop of the car and wet sand on the deep scraches makes the car look fantasic.
