The wife came home from work tonight & mentioned all the above happening at once.
She was coming to reverse on to our drive when she noticed the battery light had come on, but the engine was still running. When she went to turn the wheel she noticed the power steering had gone & when she went to put her foot on the brake it was super stiff. No play at all.
So she turned the engine off, started it back up again & everything was fine.
This has come on the back of the car juddering here & there in various gears at various speeds. You could be on an A road at 30 or the motorway at 70 & it'll be like the car is being pulled back / restricted somehow & it'll just judder for a little bit before running as normal.
Checked out the throttle body & it's clean.
Car is an X-plated 1.6.
Any ideas what could be going on with this because it's making her have zero confidence in the car & thinking of getting rid.
