Mine green paper with no oil defo. And cream plastic edges.

Heatshield would require so serious modding to fit as ive had to bend flat the strut fixing mount for where the heat shield would go as other wise it would rub on the s2000 filter.

They should not be oiled. But for some reason some manufacturers choose to do so.
Mine was from ECP, green and beige and not oiled.

Paper, so iv read has the best filtering ability.

Just fitted mine, I got it from Baxxy but it's from ECP as well. It's slightly oiled (I have the stain on my leg to prove it!). I used a 80-70mm hose from Auto Silicone Hoses which was a really tight fit around the filter and needed a bit of trimming at the MAF end.

The red ties in with the rest of my engine bay nicely

Room is fairly tight though:

Go for it, it was a b!tch to get it all fitted due to lack of space and the filter being enormous

Luckily it's been ok here this afternoon, hopefully it will be the same tomorrow so I can rip out the SAI pump and crap that goes along with it.

I had to trim back my TIP slightly for the standard airbox so mine should have a bit more room. I'll have to make up some brackets to move the heatshield slightly and I'm gonna trim a hole in it for my ignition amp
