Title: THE LAST DAY HAS COME!!(BETTER PICTURE UPDATE)
Post by: jake on 15 February 2009, 15:51: tomorrow is my last day of having a silver roof. i have been thinking about this idea for a very long time, but now i have grabbed

my nuts and ive booked it in. Im getting a black roof on tuesday, i know this idea is like marmite, some love it, some hate it. but

i really like it. I will post pics on tues night or maybe people may want to have a quick glance at the sandbach services if anyones on the

convoy.

So heres my last ever pics with a silver roof, fingers crossed it looks good :undecided: :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:

this trend, u dont see many with the darker roof :huh:

I'd be tempted to have a viynl put on it, so you can take it off and polish it when you get bored. Lot cheaper that way!

get a piece of metal welded to the bonnet, smoothed and sprayed

Post by: jonnyturbo on 17 February 2009, 12:03: i got my bonnet extension from www.venommotorsport.co.uk (http://www.venommotorsport.co.uk). IIRC it was about £75 then it has to be welded to the car. Smoothed and blended into the bonnet filled sanded a few times then sprayed. Hope this helps

because on gti's the windscreens have a tinted sunstrip, so because the roof is black it looks like the front windscreen never ends!! :cool: :cool:

exactly like that!

the R32 spoiler, just provides something to break the lines up and allow the top of the boot to be black.

IMO you need to do that to yours too!

it's swings and roundabouts really, the main thing is that you're personally happy with the job, and from the sounds of it you are :afro:
