Leave Revo well alone mate ive heard alot of bad stories.

Who did you use Robbie? I've heard so many conflicting reports of REVO. Some glowing, some terrible!

Just over the years hearing about ecu burn outs and other things from mates who have had the maps they provide if you want info on maps call my mate Gerald during office hours on *************** what he dont know aint worth knowing mate.

Revo are crap, lots of stories of generic maps not tailored in anyway, which for the price is pathetic, achieve well under power or are well down on power like for like with other remapping specialists, for that money i would go to a specialist and get the car live mapped." i would try Evolution, DNA Tuning, RS Tuning, Jabba or even My Nan Does Tuning before i went to Revo. Just my 2p.

I suspect that Steve has put a couple of Revo stickers on his car...

182 - thanks a lot for that info. Interesting! I wonder if the cause for those people's problems was because they went to Revo dealers that perhaps weren't "up to scratch" ??

JKM in Portsmouth, and Revo HQ both told me that they would live map the car.

Interesting................................................

I can see Steve's point of view. The first remap decision is always the hardest.

Living so close to JKM I wouldn't be able to resist at least having a go at a 5 hr trial

when coming from a MK4 18t to a MK5 Gti and considering a remap right away revo were well down my list

just because I too had seen too many bad comments about Revo, particularly on MK4s, there was and still is a lot more tuners doing remaps for a lot less £££

a few people on here and they know who they are will jump in and tell everyone considering a map to get REVO and it realy is the best out there, well i'm still not convinced and the recent RR days have just confirmed that they aren't leaps and bounds ahead of the rest.

It is a fair piont a lot of Revo dealers aren't up to speed and some are better than others, doesn't that mean that the less experienced operators shouldn't be charging upwards of£650
