Had enough with these god damm breaklights

Ok so. Break lights not been working since weekend. And tuesday i took the car in to the local garage for break light switch replace cost nothing as he installed a new one in june.

So installed it that did not work. He ordered another one installed it today and he said all done there working. I come home from work not 2 long ago all dark. And there still not working.

Somthing has worked in the sense that the engine management bleep has gone now. But they wont work. Is the switch still f**ked or maybe a fuse gone ?

could have blown a fuse if they had ignition on when changing switch, check your bulbs again just in case also it could have a dead short somewhere in the wiring.

Right got it sorted now lol.

Ok so the break light switched the local garage dude was fitting was not proper vw ones. So i went to the specialist got the offical vw one for 8 quid. The local garage dude fitted it for free and they work again.

God damm thing lol.
