Max power AGU engine

I am putting a big turbo on my AGU.  What is the max power the standard engine can take?

i may get it rebuilt first, dont really drive the car!

some people will say otherwise, but around 340bhp!

Thats all i take mine to , as i was advised so by a few vag specialists

Worth remembering that FWD drive cars (newer ones excluded) can't cope with more than 250bhp usually  :smiley:

 i am stating wheel hp ....  someone that states they have 260bhp they are stating it at the fly. (around 15% lose due to trane)

:D  Yep.  Even more transmission losses with the 4wd cars - probably around 25%!!  :lipsrsealed:
