Reckon a FSH makes much difference to the re-sell cost of a mk4 given their age now?
-
It will but not much.
I keep all the receipts and noted down when and what was changed so effectively a FSH but without paying £50 an hour labour

i've got a lever arch file full of everything purchased for the car :nerd:
i keep a record of all my MOTs, tyres, servicing, performance parts etc etc

my old motor had full dealer history upto 60+k and then private after that. Did the servicing myself. However my new golf has fully stamp booked with fsh part main dealer part private garage. Now i am tempted to have it serviced at a local garage just so i can keep the book stamped as think this helps when selling the car, even though when i did work myself i kept all receipts and wrote the mileage and date when the work was carried out on it.

Always serviced my own cars, kept up with the service record backed up with the receipts for the parts. Never had any problems re-sale wise infact only good comments on how well I've kept upto the vehicle. You can still advertise FSH
FSH only tends to happen in the cars first 3 years of its long life

My mate from Audi looks after me

Mine has FSH but I reckon next time I'll have a go....
C T P it will go in for though, only done 3k miles ago
