But consistently every 5 minutes - that's the unreliable reliability you can afford from a MK2, with the MK3 on tow in the distance.

Just blobbed out on me, A dedi server should be able to serve the forum without breaking a sweat if it's SQL it can keep up with a lot of requests far more than are been served here I would say :)

What flavour of SQL? :tongue:

Hopefully it is being run on MySQL, out of interest where is the site hosted?
for £60 I might be able to get a shared box, but it's hosted in Canary Wharf on 1GB/fibre lines to the UK back bone.
