any recommendations for a stage 1 ecu tune?
ecotune, Superchips, quantum and Celtic all popping up on my searches

Revo over the years seems to be the most popular  one of choice by owners on here.

right beside my work...
but the gains vs Ecotune are quite sizeable and tuning seems to be not their main thing which puts me off

Some generic map is not value for money  :smiley:

its a 2011 1.4 tsi with 50k miles. I can't justify 400 for a dyno and custom unfortunately

If it is the twin charger engine? then I would opt for a milder tune.
