Hi I know its a stupid question but can you fit any lowered springs onto any type of shocks or do the shocks and spring sets have to match? :embarassed:

The shocks have to be designed to match the spring size and travel ...
If not, you'll end up with a poor ride and premature failure of the shock

Also, they have to fit the car - i.e. a mk3 VR6 cannot use mk3 GTI shocks and springs, as the VR6 is a heavier car and the setup would be designed for this.
