Title: Help?! Aka f*cking alarm!!!!

Right, me polo alarm (standard factory fit) has been going off non stop.

thought i would take it round to the garage and leave it in there for tongiht and get the rado out.

anyway, key in ignition, and the 'boot is open' warning light came on  :undecided:. i got out, open and shut the boot, and it went out.

drivign along, and the light came on again (feintly, the getting brighter  :undecided:). theres nothing keeping the boot open or obstructing the latch  :undecided:

i washed it today, by hand, as normal. is there some sort of sensor or something that could be f**ked??

any ideas appreciated  :laugh:

sounds like a common fault

the boot lock ont he mk4 is faulty and this is causing the alarm to go off non stop

probably mud and road salts that have messed the lock up :angry:

Yep, I phoned the stealership today and they said its quite common.

Ive booked myself in for a stealershipp @ss raping it in for thursday  :laugh:

you got a  quote for the damage then jen or will the give you a nice chair to sit on when they give you the bad news.

if they come in to the room wearing a ski mask, its gonna be a bank account smasher.
