Title: New Car Has Finally Arrived >>>>>>>>>>
Post by: >>Mart<< on 07 January 2006, 13:23
picked the car up yesterday i ended up getting the silver v reg 5 door GTI Turbo
really happy with it apart from had a blow out last night so i had to run around this morning to get some tyres sorted thought it would be better getting a matching pair on the front cause one of them was a bit low anyway
apart from that all i can see wrong with the car is the light for the alarm on the door dont flash is it a easy fix does anyone know ??
anyway will get some pics up soon i have also been buying stuff for it already managed to get these off good old ebay

The light on your door is easily replaced, but it could be the door switch, see if the interior light comes on when you open the driver door :undecided:
When my door switch went it stoped my alarm light flashing, cost about £100 to put right I think
Why did you buy clear side repeaters, they should be on there already :undecided:

its got the clear repeaters but not the crystal ones i have just won off ebay

gonna get the local electrician to have a look at the red light tomorow
interior lights work fine when you open the door and the alarm is working cause i set it off the other night i hope it just a case of replacing the red light
will it just pop out or does the door card need taking off

looks easy enough

i have had a few door panels off in my time and it did just look like you could pop a screwdriver underneath it and prise it out
