That article cracked me up, apparently in some parts of Germany you can't wash your car, play your radio loud or mow the lawn on sundays as its a day of rest..ludicrous.

Funny but true, don't remember where I've heard it on but in one of the states in America you're not allowed to wash you car with a used pair of knickers whilst topless....

Didn't need to read the article apart from the header to realise this is absolute none sense(to put it politely) what a total joke, are eat my own poo before I use petrol stations facilities....

there should be more regulation in this area as the environment is important... however an outright ban on home/personal cleaning and imposing that cars only be washed using terrible automated car washes is obviously not the answer

there are already solutions ranging from environmentally friendly shampoos and cleaners to inflatable wash pads to collect contaminated waste fluid. eg: http://www.morclean.com/mobile-floor.html

Environment is important...try telling that to all the countries that has thousands of motor bikes, Tuk Tuks etc.....Yes the UK will sort the rest of the world.......... :rolleyes:

Yes Guy...we should.....:wink: I suppose it keeps the cleaning providers in a job selling friendly shampoos and cleaning products....
