Ha, that's just like the sponge I used!!!

The secret is in my washing technique too. Always wash from bottom to top!!!   :laugh:

i always used to wash my clio with a sponge and fairy liquid and nothing ever went wrong with the paint on that .....
















until i tried to dry it off and a 5" piece of paint flaked off exposing bare metal  :lipsrsealed:

As mentioned before, a one-off use of fairy liquid is unlikely to cause irrepairable damage. Using it every weekend on the other hand is completely different.

As for petrol, if I had unexpectedly run out of gas and Morrison's was the closest, I'd head there and put enough petrol in to reach Shell!  :grin:

Plus I used APC all over the car yesterday at 1:4 dilution! Here's the end result: Clicky
