Speedo drive fallen into gearbox
« on: 30 March 2018, 22:25 »
Hi guys,
Can anyone give me any advice on fishing the Speedo drive out of the gearbox. It has disappeared.
Do I just leave it in or will I need to take the thing apart
Thanks in advance
dh

Had the same thing happen to me, I left it as I didn't have time to do anything else, but shortly after the box overshifted into 3rd and has been stuck in 3rd ever since.
Don't think it had anything to do with the speedo gear but I'm going to have to take the box off now anyway so maybe I'll find it!

they are only plastic anyway. wouldn't stand a chance against a set of steel gears.
