Post by: DUBboi12 on 16 March 2012, 20:48
My side skirt is coming adrift on my mk3 golf gti, I can't screw them back on! What's the best way to fix them back on? Any Suggestions please

It's all started to corrode and when it got ripped off it ripped off the screw points!!

Oh dear, I'd seriously be thinking about taking the sill covers off completely to inspect how far the corrosion has taken hold of the integrity of the sills.

clean all the rust up and paint, then use some tiger seal.

Go in classifieds and ask someone breaking a mk3 for a skirt

The problem i can see with using sealant is that if you use it along the bottom of the sill covers the water will collect in the bottom and potentially cause more problems.
