exposure lock usually looks like a little key... and displays a star in the eyepiece so that you can tell that it is on... I find it very useful for taking shots to use in a panorama

why nick, correct me if I am wrong, but isn't that the Rembrandt lighting method that you have used to illuminate the models face?

Yeah I have a button that makes a star appear.

It's finally happened, Shady done got himself a camera lol! Took a bunch of pics today, all using Auto mode so please bare with me, I am in the learning stage.
