Stink: Was there much photoshopping/adjustments on the GTR photo?

Here's one from today.. It was my girlfriend's leaving party as she's flying to Majorca tomorrow to be a kids club rep. This is her cute baby cousin




And one of the Durham Cathedral knocker from a few weeks back:



I'm massively behind on my photography project (like 5 weeks..) so this week I'm going to be doing alot of work on that! The themes I need shots for are: "Duo" "Longing" "Letter" "Poverty" "Reflection" "Relationships" "Up".

the only things i did was use three layers with differnt levels and masked off bits here and there so i could get the reflections looking sweet without blowing the dark purple of the car

yeah in a nut shell as ive found that using some hdr programs doesnt give the desired effect with this you can tweak it jsut how you want it use as many layers as you want etc, just gives you more control over the end result

How'd you get it nice and dark around the corners?

as mentioned above using layers with differnt levels  going down to woolacoombe in this in a coupel of weeks should be fun haha

yeah pretty much, one layer with normal levels, one with over exposed levels and one with under exposed levels then you can pick and choose which bits from which layer differnt opacities etc
