knew he needed a long exposure for matey to run about and wiggle his light about... but thought a wider aperture might have let in too much light for the length of exposure needed... obv not!

My tripod, Tamrac bag and shutter release switch arrived today. Already building up a collection of accessories.

Bobbarley, I see you're having fun with low light scenes. Your images look good.

There are three really good photography books I'd recommend to anyone:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/0817463003/ref=s9cpic_c5_img2-rfc_p?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-8&pf_rd_r=1NC5GTREN699HE5TWJTK&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=463780633&pf_rd_i=468294

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Digital-Photography-Book-Scott-Kelby/dp/032147404X/ref=pd_bxgy_b_img_b

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Digital-Photography-Book-Step-Step/dp/0321524764/ref=pd_sim_b_4

They teach you so much. Well worth purchasing.
