Thanks Nick, I'll experiment with the settings. I've ordered a Manfrotto 190XPROB tripod so am looking forward to trying out longer shutter speeds.

Manfrotto? Jealous, I am! :)

i'm not... already have one...  :tongue: brilliant tripod's...    :smiley:

Nick you little info on F numbers has explained a few things for me with some of my photos now, time to experiment a bit more  :wink:

I had a shot at photoshopping the photo from a couple pages back and made it "high key" (following a guide online)

Critique please ;) I'm not sure if it's light enough for high key?

that light graffiti is well good, i used to have adobe photoshop. i should have kept it  :sad: can anyone make a pic like the light graffitti when the car is still and it looks like cars lights are zooming around??
anyone know what i mean or do i sound dumb?

Well I'm just packing my things away for my holiday to Austria tomorrow.. Just the bare essentials, being my camera, 18-55, 50mm, 70-200mm, 10-20mm, external flash and a small tripod :P

i know what you mean, to do that you would need to cut your car out and put it in a scene with the lights etc already in it, if you want the real light effect.

I'm not amazing with photoshop otherwise I would try it out  :smiley:
